Our outside play was limited to a burrito and rice picnic party! We had to run a lot of errands so we ate lunch outside today.
burrito
rice
and then play time with the fallen branches.
River said, "Did you know that the tree made these branch sticks?" then he paused for a moment, "But you know Mama, Jesus made these sticks."
One of my newly loved CDs is called Picnic Playground by Putumayo Kids.
(We have been listening to it all week)
It is a "Musical treat from around the World." And let me tell you it is the best
Putumayo kids CDs we have ever listened to.
We are participating in the great outdoor challenge hosted by the blog 5 orange potatoes

Lovely lunch, great photos.
Enjoy your weekend x
Looks like a fun time.
You can get your kids to eat rice and beans?? they must be a little like their momma! Good work on your blog!
What a fun afternoon! We are HUGE fans of Putumayo CD's too... they are the BEST!!!
Outdoor lunches are always fun. I have not heard of the Putumayo CD's but I will certainly check them out.
The egg shell flowers look delightful in the wheat grass. I had a chuckle when I read that after dissecting the eggs " cross contamination was not allowed", so sweet.
Thank you so much for your well wishes with regards to the birth of our baby girl.
Vanessa, I love your blog! Elijah and Sevannah are darling! You are such a great Mom and teacher!
Love, Mom!
